Hello, my name is Raaga Mandala, and I am a freshman at Westview High School.
I am excited to perform my Kuchipudi Rangapravesam (solo classical dance recital) this summer, as a culmination of my nine years of training in this art form.
As I prepare for this momentous occasion, I realize how privileged I am to have the support of my family and the resources needed to pursue my passion. I know there are many kids my age who don't have that privilege, and I want to do my bit to help.
I am inspired by the amazing work that Boys & Girls Aid has been doing to provide support for foster children, homeless youth, and youth aging out of the foster care system.
Please join me in supporting this wonderful cause and help the children and youth in need.
